WALTER J KNAPP graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, with a degree in history. He has concentrated his research on American Indian studies for almost three decades. Recently, he was an instructor of American Indian History & Culture at The University of North Georgia Continuing Education Department. After twenty years in the world of banking and finance, he expanded his interests to include freelance writing. Walter has written three novels, Between Reveille & Taps, and A Ranger’s Revenge, which explores actual 19th-century events and their effect on Native American culture. His most recent novel is Through The Eyes of an Assassin. Also, Walter has written numerous magazine articles covering aviation and aviation related topics. He enjoys reading, horseback riding, hiking and camping in his spare time. Married with two adult children, and four grandchildren. Walter resides in Roswell, Georgia.
